Steve and Curt were curious about how the scroll wheel gets its tactile feel.
So, yeah.

Designed in Fusion 360. Cut the wood with our large CNC and 3D printed the legs and attached them to the wood platform. Works like a charm!

Wrapped these beauties with square copper wire and copper beads! New treasures for the Norwalk Oyster Festival this weekend!

Needed a bigger laser stand for the new laser
Built this out of 3/4 inch plywood.
Transferred the old material shelf over.

Includes space for both handle and six weeks of heads. Printed in overture sparkle purple filament.
Dovetailed lid with siding or light friction fit, provision for lid closure with a set of 4x2mm disc magnets

The top gears are the first print with evidence of elephant foot. The bottom gears add a 0.2mm fillet around the bottom of the teeth (since chamfer doesn’t work on my spline edge) and definitely reduces the elephant foot so the gears fit more closely as intended :white_check_mark:

Had some troubles with the translucent pla-- also tried painting the first attempt with some gold acrylic, really liking the result!
